2008 will be the 18th annual event.
Teams from all over the world have taken part over the years. 2007 saw teams from USA, Canada,South Africa, Spain, Portugal, Malaysia, Sweden Australia, Israel, Egypt & Germany amongst others, travelling to play teams from a dozen English County associations. The Festival takes place on the award winning fields of Royal Holloway University in picturesque Surrey.40 minutes from London, 30 from Heathrow airport & 10 from Windsor Castle & Eton College, the location is ideal for providing top quality football coupled with a great holiday.

Coaching with FA qualified coaches can be arranged.
All matches are played on campus. Residential teams have no travelling to play. Every game is refereed by 3 officials. With the exception of exceptional unforeseen circumstances, all teams entering the Festival are guaranteed 4 games. All matches are of 1 hour duration. In most cases, teams will be divided into groups, followed by a Cup & Plate knockout competition.

The Festival is played under the rules of the FA & FIFA. Great emphasis is placed on the desire to win coupled with Fair Play. Lasting international friendships have been made at previous Festivals and we always look forward to welcoming friends both old & new.
All matches are played from the afternoons onwards on weekdays, and all day at weekends. Groups have free use of the fields for practise when tournament games are not taking place.

Visits to local stadiums such as Emirates & Wembley can possibly be arranged.
Within easy reach of the college are London, Windsor Castle & Eton College , Warwick Castle , Bath , Stonehenge , Oxford , Stratford etc. along with theme parks like Chessington, Legoland & Thorpe Park . Excursions can be arranged on request.
Various evening social events will be arranged, such as the Festival disco, karaoke, etc. These events are free to residential guests.

Arrival no later than Tuesday 29th July. Departure on or after 4th August 2008
Tournament games start on 26th July for local teams & earlier arrivals.
Finals day for all age groups is Sunday 3rd August

Dispensations may be granted on request.
Before their first game, each team must produce a list of players eligible to play, along with photographic proof of age. This proof should be available for production at each game played.
All English teams must be affiliated to their County FA
All overseas teams must be affiliated to their country’s FA & have permission to travel & play.
All groups are responsible for their own insurance
